Description
In 1965, Buick released a completely redesigned LeSabre, which was now mounted atop General Motors' new perimeter frame and vastly improved structural safety. The third-generation LeSabre was available in two trim levels, the base LeSabre and the LeSabre Custom, the latter being the only way to get the desirable convertible body style and featured a more luxurious interior trim.
This ‘65 LeSabre Custom convertible was acquired by the current owner's father in November 2012. It is finished in red with a black hood and convertible soft top over black vinyl upholstery. Power comes from a 300ci Wildcat V8 engine that is mated to an automatic transmission.
Per the seller, recent work performed included replacing the convertible top, painting the hood black, and installing an aftermarket stereo system and subwoofer in addition to flushing the brake fluid and replacing the convertible top, spark plugs and wires, carburetor, distributor cap and rotor, drive belts, intake manifold gasket, and pinion seal.
This 1965 Buick LeSabre Custom convertible is now offered on behalf of the current owner at no reserve in Washington state with a clean Montana title in the current owner’s name.
