Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
The 1964 Ford F-100 marked the midyear point of an F-Series model that debuted in 1961. The ’64 F-100 was available in multiple configurations, including 114” and 128” wheelbases with corresponding 6.5- and 8-foot beds, as well as Styleside and Flareside bed designs. Standard and the more luxurious Custom Cab versions were offered, and optional features like factory-installed air conditioning reflected a shift toward more comfort-oriented pickups.
The F-100 was built on a durable parallel rail frame, and featured Ford’s I-Beam front suspension and two-stage rear leaf springs which improved ride comfort and handling. A full range of engines were offered, including 223ci and 262ci inline sixes and a torquey 292ci V8. Those power plants were paired with a standard three-speed manual, or heavy-duty three- or four-speed manual transmissions. The 1964 F-100 offered a blend of rugged utility and improved drivability, making it a popular choice among both commercial users and private owners. And today it remains a sought-after classic among vintage truck enthusiasts.
This 1964 Ford F-100 Custom Cab Styleside is said to remain in largely factory specification, right down to its oil bath air cleaner. It's been refinished in tan and white, wears refreshed brightwork, and is powered by a 292ci V8 with a three-speed manual transmission. If you’re looking for a fun driver that’s also ready to work, look no further.
This F-100 is now offered at no reserve by the selling dealer as part of the Burnyzz Collection of January vehicles.

Additional Information
The consignor states, “Reportedly this F-100 was bought new at a dealership near Raleigh, North Carolina by a family who owned it for 55 years. It made its way to Dallas and either there or somewhere in between it had a complete frame off restoration. Important parts were replaced (gas tank, exhaust system, radiator, carburetor, etc.) but it is as original as possible.
It was sold at auction there and I bought it from the person who bought it at auction. It was enclosed trailered here from the Dallas area. I have had it for almost four years and 800 miles, and it was always garage kept. I had a new clutch installed about 2.5 years ago. It runs around 180 to 190 degrees engine temperature in the summer here. This truck has won trophies in large area car shows, I think mainly due to its originality and overall condition.”
