Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
The 1962 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz represented the final chapter of Cadillac’s long-running tradition of hand-finished, ultra‑luxury convertibles. Introduced as part of Cadillac’s 60th Anniversary lineup, the ’62 Biarritz embodied the restrained elegance Cadillac adopted in the early '60s. Designers moved away from the towering fins of the 1950s, replacing them with clean, linear styling and a lower, more refined tail treatment. The car featured a powerful 390‑cubic‑inch V8 paired with a smooth Hydra‑Matic transmission, emphasizing effortless performance and comfort.
Production for 1962 was notably limited; only about 1,450 Eldorado Biarritz convertibles were built. Luxury equipment came standard, including leather upholstery, power accessories, and distinctive body trim unique to the Eldorado line.
Refinished in “fire engine red” paint over black leather upholstery and black carpet, this '62 Eldorado Biarritz has a power-operated black convertible top. Features include optional bucket seats, air conditioning, and Autronic Eye automatic headlight dimmer, as well as power steering, brakes, windows, and seats, and a remote‑control trunk lock.
This 1962 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz is represented at no reserve by a Broad Arrow Specialist with a spare tire and jack, rear boot cover, owner’s manual and brochure, and a clean Florida title in the current owner's name.
