Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
Produced from 1956 through 1964, the Studebaker Hawk blended distinctive Raymond Loewy-influenced styling with V8 power and grand-touring comfort. By 1960, the Hawk had evolved into a refined personal coupe that combined dramatic tailfins, a wide grille, and aircraft-inspired design cues with dependable American mechanicals. Today, these stylish Studebakers remain a favorite among collectors seeking something different from their domestic contemporaries.
This 1960 Studebaker Hawk project is powered by a 289ci V8 paired with a three-speed Flight-O-Matic automatic transmission. Finished in red and white over a partially refurbished red vinyl interior, the car rides on 15-inch steel wheels with hubcaps and features front and rear bench seating.
According to the seller, the vehicle was given to her father as a retirement gift, and he undertook a decade-long refurbishment, rebuilding and replacing numerous components, repainting the car, and partially retrimming the interior.
This 1960 Studebaker Hawk project is now offered at no reserve in Washington with a clean Minnesota title in the seller’s name.
