Description
The 1960 Autobianchi Bianchina Trasformabile is one of postwar Italy's most enchanting automotive achievements. Born from a partnership between Fiat, Pirelli, and Bianchi, Autobianchi launched in 1955 with a mission to blend everyday practicality with genuine style. The Bianchina, introduced in 1957, delivered exactly that: a tiny, Fiat 500-based platform transformed into something whimsically upmarket.
The Trasformabile variant, meaning “convertible,” features a manual fabric roof folds back to create an open-air driving experience, while chrome trim, two-tone paint options, and thoughtful detailing give it an elegance far beyond its modest mechanical roots. Power is by a small but spirited rear-mounted two-cylinder engine, perfectly suited to Italy’s narrow streets and sunny boulevards.
The Bianchina Trasformabile offered ordinary Italian families a taste of la dolce vita, wrapped in a package that was affordable, efficient, and undeniably fun to drive.
This Trasformabile has been refurbished with new paint, brakes, and wiring. The interior has been modified with plush upholstery, a center console, seat belts, and an aftermarket radio and speakers.
This 1960 Autobianchi Bianchina Trasformabile is now offered with spare parts, manuals, a T-shirt, and a clean Delaware title in the seller’s name.

Additional Information
The seller states, “Car is a restomod, in that the interior is more plush than stock. Add-ons are a center console, seat belts, and a new radio to hide the hole made by the previous owner's attempt to install a radio. Paint colors are not stock — the body is a Dodge color, and the top is a Ford color.”
“The sale includes two boxes of parts, three different shop manuals, a body manual, a parts manual, an owner's manual, and an Autobianchi t-shirt — never worn and still in its plastic bag.”
“The car is sometimes hard to start due to it just sitting in my shop for so long. The wiper is not working. Car has been sitting for a while so a tune up may be needed, also has a slight blowby like other classic Fiat 500s.”
“The complete brake system was new, and the wiring was all new. My main interest is Corvairs, and this poor little car has just been sitting here instead of being used. It's time for someone else to have it.”
