Description

Ford’s third-generation F-Series trucks, produced from 1957 to 1960, introduced significant design changes, including a more integrated and modern appearance with a wider front bodywork that combines the cab and front fenders. The 1960 F-100 Panel was the last of the F-100 variants offered as Ford shifted its focus to other models.

The vehicle could be equipped with the 223 cubic-inch Mileage Maker inline-six or the 292 cu-in Y-block V8, both of which offered reliable performance for commercial and personal use. The truck was a popular choice for businesses that required a dependable vehicle for deliveries and other tasks.  The design of the F-100 Panel included a spacious cargo area without rear side windows, making it ideal for transporting goods securely. Ford’s sale brochure called it an “office on wheels” and boasted, “At every stop this new Ford Panel will be saying good things about your business.”

This 1960 Panel has been beautifully restored with custom upgrades, including a Ford 302 cu-in small-block V8, rebuilt Ford C4 three-speed automatic transmission, modern gauges, a Pioneer digital AM/FM/CD stereo, leather interior, wooden rear floor, and a yellow paint job with a “Hometown Delivery” mural by East Coast Airbrush. The truck has been driven only 5,554 miles since the rebuild.
