Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
With a new front-end design incorporating quad headlights, an updated grille, and a beefed-up chassis, the 1958 GMC Blue Chip trucks were built for serious work — with a dose of style, too. These trucks were GMC's equivalent to sister-brand Chevrolet's Task Force range, though only GMC models could be equipped with the 270ci inline-six. Buyers could choose stepside or fleetside beds, manual or automatic transmissions, and optional four‑wheel drive. Built as a working truck, the 1958 GMC 100 emphasized durability, utility, and straightforward design over comfort or luxury.
Built in Pontiac, Michigan, this 1958 GMC 100 half-ton rides on a 123.3-inch wheelbase and features a single cab configuration with a stepside bed. The truck was reportedly used as a work vehicle by a friend of its current owner.
Presented with a weather-worn “patina” exterior finish, the truck has a partially re-trimmed interior featuring a vinyl bench seat and trim that extends to the door panels. Prior to its current owner, the truck reportedly had work performed to its carbureted 270ci inline-six as well as its brakes and suspension, and it has had sheet metal repairs. This vintage GMC truck now features front disc brakes, alternator conversion, LED headlights, and aftermarket gauges.
This 1958 GMC 100 Series pickup is now offered at no reserve with a clean Arkansas title in the seller’s name.

Ownership History
From the seller, “This truck holds more sentimental value to me than anything else. A dear friend who was like a father to me gifted me this truck after using it for years to haul mulch, sand, etc. to my farm. It's an absolute workhorse!”
