Description

OFFERED AT NO RESERVE

The 1956 GMC 150 pickup was the ¾-ton chassis of GMC’s acclaimed Blue Chip Series, a truck line introduced in 1955 as GMC’s counterpart to Chevrolet’s Task Force trucks. The 1956 model featured a distinctive grille, a wraparound windshield for improved visibility, and a more comfortable cab than earlier postwar trucks. Buyers could choose from durable inline-six or V8 engines, paired with various transmission options suited for work or farm use.

This 1956 150 was the subject of an older refurbishment and is powered by a 316ci V8 mated to a four-speed manual transmission.

Refinished in green with a white cab, the body is mounted to a ¾-ton chassis that features a 123” wheelbase. Wooden planks line the cargo bed, and modifications include a fabricated tailgate and high-mounted rearview mirrors.

Inside, the bench seat is upholstered in black vinyl, and the green-and-white color scheme extends to the painted surfaces.

This 1956 GMC 150 is now offered at no reserve with a clean Massachusetts title in the seller’s name.
