Description

OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE

In 1956, Ford refined the Fairlane’s styling with a cleaner grille, new side trim, and a more prominent rear design. The Victoria featured a pillarless hardtop roofline, giving it a sleek, open look that was highly fashionable at the time. Buyers could choose from a range of vibrant two-tone paint combinations, enhancing its visual appeal.

Under the hood, the Fairlane Victoria offered several engine options, including the 292 and 312 cubic inch Y-block V8s, delivering up to 225 horsepower with the Thunderbird Special package. Ford also introduced safety innovations that year, such as optional seat belts and a padded dashboard, part of its “Lifeguard Design” campaign.

Then as now, “Your heartbeat will quicken when you see the long, low lines, the brilliant use of color, the rich, inviting interiors that stand out in the most distinguished company.”
