“Smart as a convertible, snug as a sedan, this distinctive new Victoria is a style-leading member of the Fairlane family—the fine cars that are winning more and more new friends for Ford.” The 1956 Ford Fairlane Victoria embodied Ford’s growing emphasis on modern style, comfort, and performance in the mid‑1950s. Introduced the year before as part of Ford’s new top‑trim Fairlane series—named after Henry Ford’s Dearborn estate—the Victoria hardtop quickly became one of the line’s most refined and fashionable models.

For 1956, Ford freshened the Fairlane’s appearance with a cleaner grille treatment, revised side trim, and a more sculpted rear. The Victoria’s signature pillarless hardtop roofline contributed to its airy, sporty look, echoing the era’s enthusiasm for open, flowing automotive design.
