Description
Introduced for 1955, the Ford Thunderbird established the personal luxury car segment by blending V8 performance, distinctive styling, and upscale features in a compact two-seat convertible package. With its clean lines, removable hardtop, and driver-oriented cockpit, the first-year Thunderbird became an instant success and remains one of the most recognizable American automobiles of the 1950s.
Acquired by the seller in 2026, this 1955 Ford Thunderbird is powered by a 292ci Y-block V8 paired with a three-speed manual transmission. Finished in Torch Red with a white removable hardtop over a red and white vinyl interior, the car is equipped with power steering, drum brakes, chrome wire wheels, and a folding soft top.
The seller states that the vehicle benefits from mechanical servicing and cosmetic reconditioning, including work to the carburetor, power steering system, brakes, fluids, and exterior finish. Additional details regarding the service work performed are outlined below.
This 1955 Ford Thunderbird is now offered with a clean Florida title in the seller's name.
