Description

The second-generation Ford F-Series debuted in 1953 with updated styling, a redesigned cab, and a new naming convention, replacing the previous F-1 designation with F-100. For 1955, the F-Series received a refreshed front-end design incorporating a new hood, revised front fenders, and a vertically oriented grille. Featuring body-on-frame construction, and Ford's "Driverized" cab design, these pickups have become popular among enthusiasts for their broad aftermarket support, making them common candidates for customization.

This modified 1955 Ford F-100 is powered by a replacement 292 cubic-inch Y-block V8 paired with a three-speed column-shift manual transmission. Finished in worn and faded blue paint with a patinaed logo on the doors as well as replacement polished stainless steel front bumper and chrome replacement rear bumper and a full-size spare, the truck is equipped with dual exhaust, Posies lowering springs, and replacement shocks. The truck has manual steering and four-wheel drum brakes.

The interior features an aftermarket blanket-style seat cover, rubber all-weather floor mats, a glovebox-mounted Kenwood stereo, kick-panel speakers, and a dash-mounted auxiliary engine oil pressure gauge.

This 1955 Ford F-100 is now offered with removable wood bed stake sides and a clean Ohio title in the seller’s name.
