Description
Produced during Cadillac's postwar golden era, the Fleetwood Sixty Special represented the marque's flagship luxury sedan. Renowned for its abundant brightwork and advanced power-assisted features, the Fleetwood Sixty Special offered a level of comfort and prestige that helped define Cadillac's position as America's premier luxury automobile manufacturer. Powered by Cadillac's celebrated 331 cubic-inch overhead-valve (OHV) V8 and equipped with the four-speed Hydra-Matic transmission, the Sixty Special combined effortless performance with the refinement expected of the marque's top-of-the-line passenger car.
This 1955 Cadillac Fleetwood Series Sixty Special is powered by a reportedly overbored 331 cubic-inch OHV V8 paired with a four-speed Hydra-Matic automatic transmission. Finished in Cobalt Blue Metallic over a reupholstered blue broadcloth interior, the car features refurbished brightwork. This Cadillac is powered by a V8 fitted with an electronic fuel pump and PerTronix electronic ignition, and said to have been overhauled at approximately 46,000 miles following extended storage. Additionally, the seller reports brake and fuel-system work.
This 1955 Cadillac Fleetwood Series Sixty Special is now offered with an owner's manual, spare parts, shop and club authenticity manuals, and a clean Illinois title in the seller's name.
