Description

OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE

The second-generation Ford F-Series debuted in 1953 with updated styling, a redesigned cab, and a new naming convention, replacing the previous F-1 designation with F-100. The 1954 model year marked the first full year of production for the second-generation F-series and featured a revised grille design, a wraparound windshield, and improved cab comfort. These classic pickups have become popular foundations for custom builds thanks to their simple body-on-frame construction and broad aftermarket support.

This 1954 Ford F-100 is powered by a Chevrolet small-block V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Finished in Kubota Orange over a black vinyl-trimmed bench-seat interior, the truck is equipped with power steering, front disc brake conversion, a Vintage Air climate control system, and a refinished wood bed. Additional equipment includes a Weber carburetor, polished air cleaner housing, performance headers, full dual exhaust, an electric cooling fan, and Sunpro auxiliary gauges.

Additional equipment includes Kubota Orange 16-inch steel wheels complete with Ford-embossed lug covers, Firestone Deluxe Champion whitewall tires, modified bumpers and taillights, seat belts, sideview wink mirrors, and a full size matching spare tire.

This modified 1954 Ford F-100 is now offered at no reserve with a color-matched vintage Coleman cooler and a clean Massachusetts title in the seller's name.

Ownership History

From the seller: "This 1954 Ford F-100 is finished in Kubota Orange and powered by a Chevrolet small-block V8. It is equipped with power steering, front disc brakes, air conditioning, a replacement wiring harness, updated shocks, and whitewall radial tires mounted on paint-matched wheels. Additional features include dual exhaust, a Weber carburetor, polished air cleaner, GM alternator, and original Ford emblems.

The truck has also been fitted with upgraded taillights, upgraded front and rear bumpers, lap belts, side mirrors, and a matching spare tire. The wood bed is an insert and is not attached to the frame, as the original steel bed remained in good condition and was left uncut. Since restoration has never seen rain, always garaged. Sounds like a beast when throttled."

The truck is now offered with a Massachusetts title.
