Description
The 1953 Chevrolet 210 was introduced as a mid-range trim level within Chevrolet’s full-size lineup, positioned between the entry-level 150 and the upscale Bel Air. Part of Chevrolet’s all-new postwar redesign, the 210 featured a longer, lower body style with integrated fenders. It was available in two- and four-door sedan body styles, offering practical transportation with modest chrome accents and improved interior comfort.
The seller acquired this 1953 Chevy 210 2-Door Sedan in 2003 and reports that a body-off-frame refurbishment was completed under their ownership. The car was refinished in red with a white roof over red upholstery contrasted by pleated white inserts and by polished trim. A fabricated center console houses a cassette head unit and features an armrest and cupholders.
This '53 Chevy is powered by a Holley carbureted 350ci V8 reportedly overhauled during the seller's time with the car. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission. Machined 15” alloy wheels are mounted over disc brakes at each corner. Additional modifications include uprated suspension components and rack-and-pinion steering.
This 1953 210 is now offered with a clean Illinois title in the seller’s name.
