Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
As part of Cadillac’s prestigious lineup, the Series 62 embodied the brand’s commitment to style, performance, and comfort. The 1951 model featured subtle design updates from the previous year, including a more refined grille and bumper design, while retaining the sleek, rounded body lines that defined early 1950s automotive aesthetics.
Under the hood, it was powered by a robust 331 cu-in V8 engine paired with a four-speed Hydra-Matic automatic transmission, which offered smooth and effortless driving. The Series 62 was offered in several body styles, including a two-door coupe, convertible, and four-door sedan, catering to a range of luxury buyers.
Inside, the cabin was richly appointed with plush upholstery, advanced features, and a focus on passenger comfort. The 1951 model year marked Cadillac’s continued dominance in the luxury car market, reinforcing its reputation as the “Standard of the World.”
Today, the 1951 Cadillac Series 62 is a prized classic, celebrated for its iconic design, engineering excellence, and representation of 1950s American optimism and style. This four-door sedan has remained with its current owner since 1979 and is refinished in cream with a gray roof. The body is adorned with refurbished Cadillac emblems, and the seating surfaces were reupholstered in the 1950s with gray Naugahyde. The 15-inch steel wheels wear polished Cadillac covers and are mounted with whitewall tires.
