The Custom series sat atop Ford’s lineup, offering buyers a blend of style, innovation, and comfort. Among its standout features was the electro-hydraulic power-operated convertible top, a “fresh air” ventilation system, and the choice of a flathead V8 or inline-six engine. These cars were celebrated for their smooth ride, reliable performance, and forward-thinking design.  

This 1949 Ford Custom Convertible is finished in black with a matching black electro-hydraulic folding soft top over a two-tone Beige Bedford cord interior with red leather trim.
