Description

In an effort to improve the VC series of half-ton our-wheel drive trucks, Dodge launched the WC series in 1941. The design focused on military practicality over civilian styling; a simple slat-style grille was employed, as well as redesigned fenders to prevent mud from collecting and hindering forward progress. Overlanding performance was increased thanks to the lengthened wheelbase. The WC chassis was used across 38 different models, with 30 of those models featuring four-wheel drive. WC series trucks served a multitude of military roles with bodies ranging from closed cab pickups, command cars, radio cars, ambulances, telephone maintenance, or open cab pickups. A rare sight on today’s roads, this WC-3 Weapons Carrier is a unique vehicle that would be a welcome addition to any militaria enthusiast's collection.

The Military Collection

The five military trucks on offer today all come from a single collection that is focused on preserving military history. This selection of trucks served vital roles with the US Military in both theaters of World War II. Today they are offered in restored condition, eager to partake in a parade, reenactment, or any other gathering of military vehicles.
