Bringing a modest selection of updates for 1935, Cadillac would entice customers with advertisements for the V-8 2-Passenger Coupe boasting “We sincerely believe that the 1935 Cadillac V-8, with its many new refinements and improvements… with its unmistakable leadership in style… is without question the most fine car value of the year”. Appointed with some of the finest available comfort, safety, and dependability features, the 1935 Cadillac V-8 was an enticing option offered at a competitive price of $2,535. Content on delivering a luxurious driving experience, the Cadillac V-8 was developed to be an extremely easy-to-use machine, intended to be guided down the road, rather than forcibly driven. The V-8 was available in a selection of body styles ranging from a stately 7-Passenger Sedan to a sleek 2-Passenger Coupe which could be ordered with an optional rumble seat. As a true luxury coupe of the period, the V-8 proudly carried on Cadillac’s legacy as “The Standard of the World.”
