Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
The Ford Model A, produced from 1928 to 1931, succeeded the legendary Model T and quickly carved out its own place in automotive history. With its more modern design and improved performance, it became both a cultural icon and a foundational car in the hot rod scene.
Larger and more refined than its predecessor, the Model A featured a longer wheelbase and cutting-edge upgrades for its time — like a 200-cubic-inch, 40-horsepower four-cylinder engine, an electric starter, and a three-speed manual transmission. It came in a variety of body styles, including coupe, convertible, sedan, and truck, with over four million units built during its four-year run.
But what truly captured the imagination of car enthusiasts was how easily it could be modified. Before long, flathead-powered Fords were dominating the streets and drag strips, and became the quintessential American hot rod.
This 1929 Model A hot rod burns retinas and rubber with a bright yellow paint job, a custom black and yellow interior, and a small-block Chevy V8.
