Custom Ford Track T Roadster

Description
The Ford Track T Roadster is a hot rod style based on a Model T — but as they were modified for dirt track and dry lake bed racing, they had significant differences compared to other modified Fords like T buckets.
The Track T Roadsters wore little bodywork, save for tiny fenders and a rear deck. They used lowered suspensions and exposed wheels, which gave them a road-hugging, racy look. And they were powered by flathead V8s, modified to put out a lot more than the factory 22-hp engines did. Those changes combined to create a unique, stretched-out hot rod more akin to an Indy car than a Model T.
This traditionally styled 1927 Ford Track T Roadster was professionally built in 2012. It features a fiberglass body mounted to a custom-fabricated rectangular steel frame. And it’s powered by a 255 cu-in Mercury flathead V8 that routes power through a manual transmission to a Ford rearend.
