Description

OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE

Introduced in 1908, the Ford Model T was designed as a durable and simple vehicle for the masses. Thanks to the moving assembly line at Ford’s revolutionary assembly plant in Highland Park, Michigan, the company was able to drastically increase production and lower costs year over year. Ford built and sold over 15 million Model Ts during its 19-year production run, which concluded in May 1927.

This 1926 “Tin Lizzie” is a two-door coupe model that is finished in maroon and black over black vinyl upholstery, and it is powered by a 177ci inline-four paired with a two-speed planetary-gear transmission. The car features wood-spoke 21” wheels, a rear-mounted spare tire, a Moto-Meter radiator cap, a hand-operated windshield wiper, a tilt-out windshield, and a windshield visor.

This 1926 Ford Model T coupe is now offered at no reserve with transferable New York registration.

  • From the seller: “I bought this Model T a few years ago. Once I got it home, I found it needed a bit more work than I had hoped. Over the past couple of years, I poured a lot of time, energy, and money into this car to make it right. It now runs and drives like it is supposed to, and I drive it several times a week. I bought it as a little project, and now that it is done, it is time to move on to the next one.”
