Description

The mid-cycle update to Mercedes-Benz's W212-generation E-Class featured cleaner exterior styling and some notable tech tweaks across the range. Replacing the prior E63 AMG's Performance Package, the new-for-2014 E63 S AMG trim brought with it a big increase in power—and it came exclusively with a rear-biased all-wheel-drive system.

Power is supplied by AMG’s hand-built M157 5.5-liter twin-turbocharged V8, producing 577 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed AMG Speedshift MCT transmission, with an electronically controlled limited-slip rear differential fitted as standard. With 0–60 mph achievable in under four seconds, The E63 S AMG was a genuine rocket while maintaining the refinement and comfort expected of a luxury sedan.

Visually, the Mercedes E63 S balances subtlety and aggression, retaining classic E-Class proportions accented by flared arches and quad exhaust outlets.

Finished in Selenite Gray Metallic over Gray nappa leather, this particular car stayed with a single owner in Pennsylvania before the New Jersey-based selling dealer acquired it. It now shows under 13,000 miles, and was factory equipped with a panoramic glass sunroof, a Harman Kardon audio system, heated and cooled front seats, and carbon fiber interior trim.
