Description
The second-generation CTS-V wagon ran from 2011 to 2014. Like its siblings, it rode on GM’s Sigma platform, wore a Nürburgring-tuned suspension wearing millisecond-quick Magnetic Ride Control dampers, and stopped with Brembo disc brakes. The result was a wagon that pulled nearly .90g through the corners and stopped from 70 mph in only 155 feet.
And its supercharged 6.2L V8 sent 556 horsepower to the rear wheels through either a manual or an automatic transmission. Equipped with the 6-speed manual as seen here, the CTS-V wagon hauled to a 4.3-second 0–60 mph sprint, and a 12.6-second quarter mile at 116 mph. Inside, the V offered plush leather sport seats, sleek black-and-chrome accents, and a premium surround sound system. The CTS-V wagon was the complete package, and while production numbers were low, Cadillac’s high-performance wagon was a much-needed—and now much-desired—wildcard.
Finished in Crystal Red over black, this CTS-V wagon is one of only 395 wagons built in 2011 and, according to the seller, one of just 13 examples in this color/option specification, making it a very rare performance vehicle.
This 2011 Cadillac CTS-V wagon is now offered with a CARFAX history report and a clean Idaho title in the seller’s name.
