Description
The 2005 Porsche 911 Carrera S marked the debut of the 997 generation, a pivotal evolution of the iconic 911 lineage. Positioned between the base Carrera and the Turbo, the S featured a 3.8-liter naturally aspirated flat-six engine producing 355 horsepower and 295 lb-ft. of torque, paired with a six-speed manual or optional automatic transmission.
Performance was impressive, with 0–60 mph achieved in about 4.8 seconds and a top speed near 182 mph. The Carrera S also came standard with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) and larger brakes, elevating handling and ride quality.
Finished in Midnight Blue Metallic over black leather upholstery, this 2005 Porsche 911 Carrera S has reportedly had its IMS bearing replaced. Notable factory options include the Sport Chrono Package Plus, Adaptive Sport Seats, Full Leather, the Bose High End Sound Package, Navigation for PCM, and more as listed below.
This manual transmission-equipped 997.1 C2S coupe has been registered in California from new, and is now offered on behalf of the current owner with a CARFAX history report and a clean title.
