This partnership heavily influenced the Crossfire's engineering, as the vehicle shared approximately 80% of its components with the first-generation Mercedes-Benz SLK. This included the chassis, suspension, and drivetrain, which contributed to the Crossfire’s excellent performance and refined driving dynamics.
