Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
The 2003 Ferrari 575M Maranello marked a key step in Ferrari’s renewed commitment to front‑engined grand tourers, evolving the acclaimed 550 Maranello while ushering in the brand’s modern V12 era. Introduced for 2002 and continuing into 2003, the 575M—short for Modificata—refined nearly every element of its predecessor. Central to the upgrade was a larger 5.75‑liter V12 producing 515 hp @ 7,250 rpm and 434 lb-ft of torque @ 5,250, an increase that fundamentally reshaped the car’s personality with broader torque delivery and a more forceful rush.
A major milestone was the introduction of Ferrari’s F1 electro-hydraulic gearbox in a front‑engined V12 road car, where shifts occur in 200 milliseconds, although the traditional gated six‑speed remained available.
Styling updates included sleeker aerodynamic elements, a reworked front bumper, Xenon headlamps, and a more modernized interior with expanded customization. The result was a grand tourer capable of 199 mph while still offering long‑distance comfort. As Motor Trend (July 2003) reported, “The 575M is a wondrous device: beautiful to look at, thrilling to drive, and arousing just to be near.”
This example—finished in striking Blu Tour de France 522 over Natural leather with blue Daytona inserts—has been enjoyed by a dedicated Ferrari enthusiast and a CF200 member of over 20 years. It shows just over 22,000 miles and has been serviced and maintained by Ferrari agencies and specialty shops.
This 2003 Ferrari 575M Maranello is now represented by a Broad Arrow Specialist in California with books, tools, records, a CARFAX Vehicle History Report and a clean Montana title in the name of the current owner's LLC.
