Description
The 996-generation Porsche 911 marked a pivotal evolution in the model’s lineage, introducing water-cooled engines and a sleeker, modern design. At its core is the 3.4-liter flat-six, delivering 296 horsepower and 258 lb-ft. of torque through a rear-wheel-drive layout. Offered in coupe, cabriolet, and Targa configurations, the 996 remains a compelling entry point into Porsche’s storied performance heritage.
This 2001 Porsche 911 Cabriolet is a six-speed manual enthusiast-owned example showing 118,100 miles, finished in rare Meridian Metallic Silver over Graphite Grey leather interior. It features a factory-optioned set of two-piece wheels and benefits from key mechanical updates including replacing the rear main seal (RMS) and intermediate shaft (IMS) bearing less than 1,500 miles ago. A Porsche Classic Communication Management (PCCM) clone head-unit with wireless Apple CarPlay has been installed for modern connectivity, while tasteful upgrades like a UniWerks short shifter enhance the driving experience.
This 2001 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet is now offered with a VIN Analytics build sheet, CARFAX history report, some maintenance records, and a clean New York title.
