Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
Introduced in 1991, the Dodge Stealth was a standout in the early '90s sports car scene, blending aggressive styling with cutting-edge performance. Co-developed with Mitsubishi and based on the Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4, the Stealth was Dodge’s high-tech answer to the rising demand for Japanese performance coupes.
Visually, the Stealth had a sleek, aerodynamic body with pop-up headlights and a low-slung stance. The high-end 1993 Stealth R/T Turbo variant featured a 3.0-liter DOHC V6 engine with twin turbochargers and an intercooler, producing 300 horsepower and 307 lb-ft of torque. It came equipped with a five-speed manual transmission and an advanced all-wheel-drive system, giving it impressive traction and acceleration. The car also boasted four-wheel steering and active aerodynamics—rare features for its time.
The 1993 model year saw minor refinements, including updated interior materials and slight mechanical tweaks for improved reliability. Enthusiasts and registry data suggest that Dodge produced fewer than 3,000 units of the R/T Twin Turbo variant in 1993; some estimates place the number around 1,299, making it one of the rarer trims for that model year.
