The 1989 Jaguar XJ-S Rouge Collection was a limited‑production special model created exclusively for the U.S. market during the final years of Jaguar’s Series II XJ-S. Introduced to reinvigorate interest in the long‑running grand tourer, the Rouge Collection was distinguished by its striking Signal Red exterior, gold‑plated Jaguar badging, and color‑matched 15‑inch basketweave alloy wheels.

Inside, the cars featured Magnolia leather upholstery with red piping, a matching leather-wrapped steering wheel, and traditional burl wood trim. Mechanically, the Rouge Collection had the same smooth and powerful 5.3‑liter High Efficiency V12 engine of standard XJ-S models, paired with a General Motors-sourced automatic transmission. Production was limited to approximately 212 coupes, making the Rouge one of the rarest factory XJ-S variants.

In addition to its Rouge Collection features, this 1989 Jaguar XJ-S has quad headlamps and fog lamps, dual exhaust, air conditioning, cruise control, and power-operated disc brakes, steering, windows, door locks, mirrors, and front seats.
