Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
Inspired by the Alfa Romeo Spider’s role in The Graduate (1967), the Italian automaker offered the Alfa Romeo Spider Graduate trim level from 1985 to 1990. The sports car traced its roots to the original 1966 Spider and carried forward an updated version of the original body penned by Pininfarina that had already become a cultural icon.
By 1989, the Spider was in its Series 3 form, updated with integrated bumpers and improved aerodynamics but still unmistakably Alfa Romeo. The Graduate trim, created for the American market, was the entry to the lineup with the relative purity of simple vinyl seats and manual windows paired with a lively 2.0‑liter twin‑cam inline-four engine, a five‑speed manual gearbox, and a limited-slip rear differential.
This ’89 Graduate is finished in Rosso Alfa (red) paint with a black manually operated convertible top and a black interior with black vinyl upholstery. The current owner installed 7” round LED projector headlights with halo rings, while a previous owner added an aftermarket touchscreen head unit and Falken Pro G5 Touring tires mounted on 14” alloy wheels.
This 1989 Alfa Romeo Spider Graduate is now represented by a Broad Arrow Specialist at no reserve with a CARFAX Vehicle History Report and a clean Florida title in the current owner's name.
