Description

The 1987 Porsche 944S represented a significant evolution in Porsche’s front-engine sports car lineup. This engine featured a high 10.9:1 compression ratio, Bosch Motronic management, and dual knock sensors, delivering sharper performance and refinement. Chassis upgrades complemented the power increase: stiffer springs, larger anti-roll bars, and improved brakes with floating front calipers enhanced handling precision.
