Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
The R107-generation Mercedes-Benz SL-Class represents one of the most iconic and enduring luxury roadsters of the 20th century. Introduced in 1971 and refined over nearly two decades, the 560 SL arrived in 1986 as the final and most powerful iteration for the North American market. Powered by the robust 5.6-liter M117 V8 engine, the 560 SL combines classic styling, solid build quality, and smooth performance—making it a favorite among enthusiasts.
This 1986 Mercedes-Benz 560 SL is a two-owner example showing 86k miles that has reportedly stayed within the same family from new. It finished in Anthracite Grey Metallic over a Gray leather interior. The seller claims it has always been garage-kept and covered, with regular dealership maintenance performed at proper intervals. This single-family-owned 560 SL is now offered in Ohio with a clean CARFAX history report, its factory hardtop, manuals, and a clean Michigan title.

Additional Information
From the seller: “This car has been in our family for years and has always been treated with care. It’s a joy to drive—especially with the top down in spring and summer. The V8 engine really comes alive on the open road. Everything is original except for the usual maintenance items, and it’s free of rust. It deserves a new owner who appreciates classic Mercedes engineering.
This SL has always been stored indoors and covered. Regular maintenance was performed at the dealership, and the car drives beautifully—smooth, quiet, and responsive. The fuel injection system was replaced in 2022, and other wear items like tires, brakes, rotors, and battery have been replaced as needed. The hardtop has been kept indoors and is in excellent shape.”
