Description

The 1979 model year marked the peak of C3 Corvette production, with over 53,000 units built. By this time, Chevrolet had refined the third-generation Corvette into a comfortable, stylish cruiser with unmistakable curves and a torquey small-block V8. Late C3s remain desirable for their classic design, removable T-tops, and analog driving experience.

This 1979 Chevrolet Corvette is said to be a driver-quality example showing 77,300 miles. Finished in Pacific Blue metallic over two-tone black and cream interior, it is powered by a 350ci L48 V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission and features a Positraction rear differential. The car was acquired by the seller’s stepfather in 2018 and passed to the seller in 2022. Located in Ohio, it is now offered with service records and a clean title in the seller’s name.

Additional Information

From the seller: “My stepfather was a licensed mechanic and took pride in maintaining this Corvette. He bought it in 2018 and kept it in good running condition. I inherited it in 2022 and have enjoyed it as a weekend cruiser. It’s not perfect, but it’s a solid driver with classic C3 style.”
