Sold new by Coleman Cadillac of Bethesda, Maryland, in December 1977, it reportedly remained with its first owner until 1989. The current seller acquired the car in November 2001 and has stored it in a climate-controlled garage for the past two decades. Minor cosmetic work has been performed over the years, including bumper filler replacement and door refinishing, while the original tires were replaced approximately three months ago.
