Description
The 1977 Chevrolet Nova Coupe marked the third year of the fourth-generation Nova, produced from 1975 to 1979. It was built on GM’s X-body platform, and featured a front-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout and a 111” wheelbase. Its 196” body wore a long, flat hood, a squared-off front fascia with dual rectangular headlights, and a chrome grille. And its straight body lines, laid-back windshield, and sloping roofline were an aggressive, modernized take on the third-generation Nova’s styling.
With the 1970s oil crisis top of mind, Chevrolet’s economical 250ci inline-six was a popular choice with buyers. This torquey engine was fed by a single-barrel carburetor and produced 110 horsepower. Transmission options included a three-speed manual or Turbo Hydra-Matic automatic, and the driver shifted gears in a comfortable interior featuring bench or bucket seats, a color-coordinated instrument panel, and many convenience and power options.
Refinished in orange with a white roof and plaid cloth upholstery, this example shows 50,700 miles and is powered by a factory 250ci inline-six paired with a three-speed column-shifted manual transmission. This Nova is now offered in Arizona with owner's manuals and a clean Wyoming title in the seller’s name.

Additional Information
The seller states, “This car was an heirloom from the original owner, who was a family member. It sat covered in a garage for over 30 years until I got it running in the fall of 2024.
It has only been driven 200 miles to and from a car show, where it won the best original class out of about 200 cars. It is all original: nothing has been replaced, and no modifications have been made.”
