Description
The 1970 Chevrolet El Camino marked the third generation of Chevy’s unique coupe utility, blending car-like comfort with truck functionality. Based on the Chevelle’s updated A-body platform, it featured squared-off styling, dual headlights, and a seamlessly integrated bed — striking a balance between muscle and utility.
Under the hood, the lineup offered the base 230-cubic-inch or an upgraded 250-cu-in inline-six, along with a slew of V8s that included 307, 350, 400, and SS396. A rare powerhouse option was the new LS6 454 V8, delivering 360-450 horsepower, depending on configuration. Inside, the 1970 model received comfort and style upgrades like bucket seats, woodgrain trim, and sporty dashboards.
This 1970 El Camino is no ordinary example; it’s a carefully-built custom that has been upgraded from front to back and bridges classic muscle heritage with modern refinement. The vehicle’s high-performance 350 cu-in V8 engine reportedly generates 450 horsepower, far beyond stock specs, mated to a four-speed automatic transmission. Refinished in Cinnamon Pearl Brown, additional highlights include upgraded Wilwood power front disc brakes, 17-inch Foose wheels, a refined Saddle Tan interior, and electronic instrumentation.
This unique El Camino is now offered on dealer consignment with a book of receipts and maintenance records, some removed factory parts, and a clean Massachusetts title.

Additional Information
The owner says, “Here’s what sets this 1970 El Camino apart: The high-performance 350 V8 engine pushes out 450 horsepower, delivering thrilling acceleration while remaining reliable and street friendly. The four-speed automatic transmission and upgraded Wilwood power disc brakes make it a pleasure to drive — smooth, safe, and confident whether on the highway or in town. The Cinnamon Pearl Brown paint is a standout — deep, mirror-finished, and far from any factory color — giving it a unique, head-turning presence that photographs beautifully. Its 17-inch Foose wheels, electronic dash, and a refined Saddle Tan interior bring the car into the modern era without losing its vintage soul. And with approximately 63,000 original miles, this El Camino’s core mechanicals have low wear — a rare find for a 55-year-old muscle classic. It’s been preserved and upgraded by enthusiasts, not neglected or abused, and it offers the best of both worlds — the raw character of a 1970 muscle icon with the performance, comfort, and reliability of a modern build. It’s the kind of car that looks equally at home on the show field or the open road.”
