The 1969 Honda CT70, affectionately known as the "Trail 70," debuted as a compact, rugged minibike designed for both on- and off-road use. It featured a pressed steel frame with a distinctive T-bone shape, folding handlebars for easy transport, and a 72cc four-stroke engine mated to a three-speed transmission and automatic clutch—making it accessible to riders of all skill levels.
Originally marketed as a trail bike for outdoor enthusiasts, the CT70 quickly gained popularity for its versatility, reliability, and fun factor. Its small size and lightweight build made it ideal for camping trips, neighborhood cruising, and even short commutes. The bike’s street-legal status in many regions added to its appeal.
The CT70 helped define the minibike era and remains a beloved. This refurbished 1969 model is refinished in red with chrome-finished fenders and a black vinyl seat. The 72cc engine breathes through a Keihin and chrome-finished exhaust, the latter of which is guarded by dual heat shields.
