* * *

The 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Sport Coupe marked the final — and for many enthusiasts, the finest — year of the first‑generation Camaro. Designed as Chevrolet’s answer to the Mustang, the Camaro had firmly established itself in the pony‑car field by 1969. For its third model year, Chevrolet delivered the most dramatic styling update of the generation. Although it continued to ride on the proven F‑body platform, the ’69 Sport Coupe adopted a wider, more aggressive stance with deeply sculpted body sides, a reworked grille, and squared‑off wheel openings that emphasized its performance identity.

The Sport Coupe remained the most popular body style, thanks to a broad engine lineup ranging from the thrifty 230‑cubic-inch six cylinder to muscular small‑block and big‑block V8s, including SS and Z/28 performance options.

This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Sport Coupe has been modified far beyond factory specifications and is meant to replicate the look of an SS 396 — but with much more power. Features include a 454ci V8, automatic transmission, cowl induction hood, front and rear spoilers, 15-inch Magnum Super Sport wheels with BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires, SS badging and steering wheel, Sunpro console gauges, a ColdMaster air conditioning system, and a RetroSound AM/FM stereo with rear window speakers. It wears a Frost Green (59) exterior with black stripe package over a Black Houndstooth bucket seat interior.

The Camaro is now offered by the selling dealer with a clean Florida title.
