Description

The first-generation Camaro quickly established itself as both a hot seller and a formidable rival to Ford’s Mustang. Introduced in 1967, Chevrolet’s new pony car offered buyers remarkable flexibility, boasting 80 factory options and 40 dealer-installed accessories. Special models like the Z/28 and SS, along with engine choices from a 230-cu-in inline-six to the COPO’s thundering 427-cu-in V8, ensured that there was a Camaro for every taste and budget.

By 1969, Chevrolet sharpened the Camaro’s look with a more aggressive design. Updates included squared-off wheel arches, a bold V-shaped grille, vented rear quarter panels, and a sleek rear valance. These refinements elevated the Camaro’s presence, making the ’69 model a high-water mark in the eyes of many enthusiasts.

The seller of this 1969 Camaro states that he spent approximately $90,000 to retain its iconic styling while also providing modern-day acceleration, handling, and road manners. He swapped in a 525-horsepower, fuel-injected LS3 crate engine and 5-speed manual transmission three years ago, and has added 6,400 miles since.

This LS3-powered 1969 Chevrolet Camaro restomod is now offered with service and ownership history documents and a clean Arizona title in the seller’s name.
