Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
Oldsmobile Chief Engineer John B. Beltz (in Motor Trend, December 1965) said, “The Toronado venture was born of a desire to create a better automobile, one with more usable room and roadability… We were after a big step forward and we were willing to break new ground in order to get it.”
The 1967 Oldsmobile Toronado marked the second year of production for Oldsmobile’s revolutionary front-wheel-drive personal luxury coupe. Introduced in 1966, the Toronado stunned the industry, and the ’67 model refined that formula. The Toronado was praised for its combination of power, handling, and futuristic design, earning Motor Trend’s Car of the Year in its debut year.
Under the hood, Oldsmobile’s 425-cubic-inch Rocket V8 delivered 385 horsepower, paired with the innovative Turbo-Hydramatic transmission and a robust chain-driven front-wheel-drive system. Inside, the Toronado offered luxury appointments like Strato bucket seats, wood-grain trim, and advanced features including optional tilt-and-telescopic steering.
This well-optioned 1967 Toronado has reportedly been kept in largely factory specification, featuring factory-correct Turquoise Frost paint with a Champagne vinyl top. The Deluxe bucket seat interior is also finished in Champagne vinyl.
This 1967 Oldsombile Toronado is now represented at no reserve by a Broad Arrow Specialist with service manuals, service records, and a clean Michigan title in the current owner's name.
