Description
Ford swiftly revolutionized the automotive industry with the introduction of the Mustang at the New York World’s Fair in April 1964, captivating a young generation of enthusiasts. Body styles included a two-door Hardtop Coupe, Convertible, and (beginning in September '65) Fastback 2+2. The most notable update on the '66 Mustang was the introduction of a new grille design featuring a floating Mustang emblem. Additionally, the side scoops were redesigned, new wheel covers were introduced, and the interior was updated with a new five-gauge instrument cluster.
Under the hood, the original owner of this example selected a 200 cu-in inline-six and a three-speed manual transmission. The seller acquired the car 22 years ago, and it recently received new front bucket seats, carpet, and a new console.
This 22-year-owned Mustang is now offered with transferrable New York registration in the seller's name.
