Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
The 1963 Chevrolet Nova SS represents Chevrolet’s early entry into the compact performance segment, blending classic styling with modern engineering. Originally offered with modest powertrains, this example has been transformed into a Pro-Touring machine featuring a 6.2-liter LS3 V8 engine plus extensive powertrain and drivetrain upgrades, delivering contemporary performance while retaining its iconic Nova II charm.
This heavily-modified Nova SS incorporates modern touches such as HID/Halo headlamps and LED lighting. Under the hood, a 525 horsepower GM LS3 crate engine is paired with Holley Terminator electronic fuel-injection, a polished FAST Big Mouth 92mm throttle body, and a custom cold-air intake. Power is routed through a four-speed automatic transmission, supported by a Chris Alston’s Chassisworks Pro-Touring front clip with rack-and-pinion steering and VariShock adjustable coilovers. Braking is handled by Wilwood aluminum tandem master cylinder, proportioning valve, and front calipers with slotted rotors.
Cooling and reliability upgrades include a custom aluminum radiator, dual SPAL electric fans, custom fan shroud, and polished coolant reservoir. Additional refinements include custom molded heater and AC lines, Sanden air conditioning compressor, and serpentine belt assembly for modern convenience.
This Pro-Touring revised 1963 Chevrolet Nova SS is now offered with build documentation and a clean California title in the seller’s name.
