Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
The 1960 Buick LeSabre marked a significant evolution in Buick’s full-size lineup, introducing sleeker styling and advanced engineering for the new decade. As the entry-level model in Buick’s hierarchy, the LeSabre replaced the earlier Special series and featured a more modern, lower-slung body with pronounced tailfins and a wide grille, reflecting the jet-age design trends of the era. It was built on GM’s B-body platform and offered a range of body styles including sedans, hardtops, and convertibles.
The LeSabre came standard with a 364 cubic-inch V8 engine, paired with Buick’s Turbine Drive automatic transmission, and featured a unique, driver-adjustable mirror-based speedometer that allowed for customizable viewing angles.
This 1960 LeSabre Four-Door Sedan has reportedly been owned within the same family for 60 years. It wears factory-correct Lucerne Green paint with a Tahiti Beige roof and Green/White vinyl upholstery with Green/Black cloth inserts.

Ownership History
This 1960 Buick LeSabre Four-Door Sedan has been in the same Illinois family for more than six decades. The seller says, “This was my great grandfather's car and then my mother's car (beginning in April 1999)—between my mom and great grandfather, it has been in the family for 60 years. I have limited knowledge of the car, but I do know the lower part of the doors (below the molding) has been repainted, some metal repair was made, and the interior seats and door panels were replaced. This was all done with OEM-style materials to keep the car as original as possible. This car is very unique with a pedal start, and the dash gauges are reverse and use a mirror to reflect the gauges to you. Car runs and performs great, just needs to be driven — a cool cruiser that unfortunately I do not have room for.”
