Description
The 1959 Ford F-100 was part of Ford’s third generation of the F-Series, which ran from 1957 to 1960. This era marked a significant shift in pickup truck design, as Ford began blending utility with style to appeal to a broader market. The 1959 model featured a more refined, car-like appearance with integrated front fenders and a wider, lower stance. It was available in both Styleside and Flareside bed configurations, offering versatility for work and personal use. Under the hood, the F-100 came with a range of engine options, including a 223ci inline-six and the more powerful 292ci V8 seen here, catering to different performance needs.
This F-100 Custom Cab was the subject of a previous refresh and is refinished in turquoise. The 292ci V8 is fed by a Holley carburetor and paired with a column-shifted three-speed manual transmission. Exterior features include chrome-finished bumpers, bright trim, and a Flareside bed with a wood-plank floor and a tailgate adorned with hand-painted graphics. Inside, a bench seat is upholstered in color-coordinated vinyl and complemented by body-color painted metal surfaces. It is now offered with a Pennsylvania title in the seller’s name.
