Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
The 1930 Ford Model A two-door sedan — popularly known as the Tudor Sedan — was part of Ford’s iconic Model A lineup manufactured between 1927 and ’31. As a successor to the Model T, the Model A marked a major leap forward in style and mechanical design.
The car left the factory with a 201 -cubic-inch L-head inline‑four engine and a three-speed sliding‑mesh manual transmission. With seating for five and prices ranging from $433 to $655, it embodied practicality and elegance during the Great Depression. The Model A also became a popular canvas for custom builders.
This 1930 Model A Tudor Sedan, for instance, went through a custom build that was completed in 1997 and included the installation of a 350ci small-block V8 engine and Turbo 350 three-speed automatic transmission. The steel-bodied hot rod wears ceramic red paint, the grille of a 1936 Ford truck, chrome wheels with red Ford badges, and a Boyce MotoMeter with a “Greektown Casino Hotel” face plate. Inside are updated gauges, an upgraded steering wheel, and the front bucket seats wear black cloth upholstery with red and black vinyl inserts.
This hot rod, which comes with a color-matching 1997 Aero trailer, is now offered at no reserve by a Broad Arrow Specialist with a clean Michigan title in the current owner's name.
