The Interstate 24 Lounge EXT Tommy Bahama Edition was the most luxurious configuration in the Interstate lineup for the 2018 model year, combining an extended-wheelbase 2017 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500 4x4 chassis with a fully outfitted coach interior and an accessory package developed in collaboration with the Tommy Bahama lifestyle brand.

This '18 Airstream Interstate 24 rides on a 170-inch wheelbase and dually rear axle, and is powered by a 3.0-liter V6 turbo-diesel producing 188 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque through a 5-speed automatic transmission and a genuine 4x4 drivetrain with driver-selectable rear differential lock and Hill Descent Control. Acquired by its current owner in 2019, it has been registered in Oklahoma since new and now shows approximately 33,450 miles.

The Lounge EXT's cabin features a 70" x 82" bed, a Nova Kool refrigerator with freezer, two-burner LPG cooktop with integrated cover, Contoure microwave, Samsung Blu-ray player, two Samsung TVs, and Fusion marine speakers throughout. A Firefly Systems digital control center manages lighting, climate, generator, awning, tanks, battery voltage, and water systems from a single interface. The motorized awning includes automatic wind-response retraction. The Fusion infotainment head unit and a mirror monitor provide rear camera and blind spot camera feeds.

Climate is handled by a Dometic roof air conditioning unit, a furnace, and a Cummins LPG generator. A solar array and dual AGM house batteries with a 1,000-watt inverter and 50-amp charger support off-grid use, supplemented by 30-amp shore power hookup. Fresh, gray, and black water tanks total approximately 65 gallons of combined capacity, with an integrated LPG tank and a 6-gallon combination electric and LPG water heater. An exterior shower with hot and cold water, city water hookup, and exterior GFI outlets round out the utility features.

The Tommy Bahama Edition added branded interior stitching on the seats along with a package of branded accessories.
