Introduced for the 2015 model year, the sixth generation of the iconic Ford Mustang was presented with all-new styling and many performance upgrades, including the addition of independent rear suspension. Codenamed the S550, this new generation would also mark fifty years of continuous Mustang production.  

Engine options for the 2015 model year included a 2.3L inline-four, 3.7L V6 and 5.0L V8, between base and GT models. Dubbed the “Coyote engine”, the 5.0L V8 has since been the foundation of Ford Performance cars from the factory, engine swaps at home and everything in between. 

This 2016 Ford Mustang’s Coyote powerplant has been given maximum performance across a Boss 302 air intake and Paxton Supercharger. The 5.0 Boss emblems on the outside only hint at the performance on the inside. Carbon fiber trunk, drag wheels and full harness complete the racing package.
