Description
The 2016 Jaguar F-Type Project 7 traces its roots to Jaguar’s 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed concept, a modern homage to the marque’s Le Mans-winning D-Type. Inspired by the original speedster‑style prototype’s impact, Jaguar approved a limited production run hand‑built by its Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) division. Produced for the 2015–2016 model years, only 250 units were made worldwide, making it one of Jaguar’s rarest modern vehicles. Its distinctive single‑seat fairing, aerodynamic bodywork, and lightweight components echoed the D‑Type’s silhouette while enhancing downforce and performance—serving as both a design statement and a celebration of Jaguar’s racing heritage.
Showing under 1,800 total miles, this 2016 F-Type Project 7 is finished in Ultra Blue with white accents and roundels adorned with “7” racing numbers. Carbon fiber extends from the front splitter, rear diffuser, and rear wing to exterior and interior trim, while a snap-on rain fly covers the Jet Black cockpit. The 575-horsepower Supercharged 5.0L V8 sends power to the rear wheels through a ZF eight-speed automatic transmission and an electronically controlled active differential. Factory 20” wheels are mounted over yellow multi-piston calipers with carbon-ceramic rotors and held by suspension specifically tuned for the Project 7.
This rare, low-mile F-Type Project 7 is now offered with a clean CARFAX history report, a Jaguar Certificate of Authenticity, a Project 7 scale model, Project 7 car cover, and a clean Colorado title in the seller’s name.
