The 2016 Jaguar F-Type Project 7 traces its roots to Jaguar’s 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed concept, a modern homage to the marque’s Le Mans-winning D-Type. Inspired by the original speedster‑style prototype’s impact, Jaguar approved a limited production run hand‑built by its Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) division. Produced for the 2015–2016 model years, only 250 units were made worldwide, making it one of Jaguar’s rarest modern vehicles.
