The McLaren 650S arrived in 2014 as a mid-cycle evolution of the 12C, debuting at the Geneva Motor Show before going on sale for the 2015 model year. Bridging the gap between the 12C and the flagship P1 hypercar, the 650S borrowed roughly 25% of its components from the P1, most notably its front fascia and revised aerodynamic package.

At its heart sat a twin-turbocharged 3.8L V8 producing 641 horsepower — the "650" in its name referencing its output in metric PS. Paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, it sprinted from 0–60 mph in just 2.9 seconds and topped out at 207 mph.

The 650S was offered in Coupe and Spider (convertible) forms, featuring McLaren's signature dihedral doors and a carbon fiber MonoCell chassis. It was praised for its razor-sharp handling and everyday usability, Car and Driver reported, “With the 650S, McLaren has closed in on the top floor.”

Finished in “Elite” color Volcano Orange over Carbon Black leather, this 13,600-mile 2015 650S includes the optional carbon fiber interior upgrade, electric & heated memory seats, sport exhaust, forged sports wheels in Stealth finish, carbon ceramic brakes with black calipers, and a Meridian DSP surround sound system with navigation.
